Definition
A single run obtained by 'walking through' a process: how many steps, which step reached, and judgments left at each step; the task bar follows globally under the top bar.
In detail
A task is one run of a process, belonging to the person who started it; the same person can only have one active task at a time, and starting a new one puts the old on hold. The task bar shows 'Step X / Total Steps · Step Name · Form to Fill', and each step's 'Record and Next' captures the judgment into the task. Once the task is attached to an object, the 'Process Task' card on the project detail page can open it directly.
Example in practice
The owner starts a "create a project" process, reaches step 4, and goes to a meeting; the task bar collapses into a small badge. The next day, they return, click to continue, and the task bar is still at step 4. After completing all six steps, the task shows 6/6 complete, and the record is visible on the project page.
