Definition

The best DBS tool/leadership course practitioners selected by DBSO can approve certified practitioners who meet the competency requirements to scale up certification.

In detail

Advanced Certified Practitioners (ACPs) are the strongest DBS tool/leadership course practitioners selected by the DBSO. They can approve Certified Practitioners who meet capability requirements to scale certification. In the system, they address certification resource bottlenecks, ensuring quality while accelerating adoption. Unlike regular Certified Practitioners, ACPs have approval authority and must maintain a high level of performance. Typical outputs include certification decisions, coaching records, and best practice sharing.

Example in practice

The number of Certified Practitioners (CP) continues to grow; DBSO selects the most capable few from existing CPs to serve as ACPs, who approve new CP applications that meet the standard, rather than escalating everything to DBSO. ACPs do not take on instructor duties, only approval; certification scale thus expands, and quality is still overseen.
