Definition

The sales and market cross-functional teams track results with day-to-day management and develop policy responses to achieve growth goals.

In detail

The Growth Room (GR) is a collaborative space and daily management mechanism used by cross-functional teams such as sales and marketing to track growth targets, analyze gaps, and develop countermeasures. It addresses the issues of cross-departmental collaboration and rapid response during the execution of growth goals, bridging strategic planning (macro) and daily management (micro). The Growth Room typically outputs a growth scorecard, action plans, and problem-solving lists.

Example in practice

After setting annual growth targets, sales, marketing, and product departments meet weekly in the growth room to review key metrics (such as orders and lead conversion rates), identify deviations, and discuss countermeasures. For example, a B2B company finds that sales in a certain region are below expectations; the team analyzes causes in the growth room, adjusts marketing strategies, and develops follow-up plans. Through continuous tracking, the growth room helps the team stay focused and ensure goal achievement.
