Also called: Lean management experience camp · Build Lean Conversion · Lean Conversion · Executive Lean Conversion camp

Definition

Advanced-oriented, Lean Conversation refers to a proven method of embedding the DBS fundamentals (mobility, standard operations, linear inventory, pull, scorecard) into the value stream.

In detail

Lean Transformation Training (Executive) is practical training for senior executives, designed to help them understand lean strategy and master the methods of leading a lean transformation. It addresses issues of insufficient executive commitment and misaligned strategy. Unlike lean leadership, this training focuses more on the strategic level rather than daily behaviors. Its output is executive commitment to lean, a lean transformation roadmap, and a plan to integrate lean with business objectives.

Example in practice

When a company decides to fully implement lean but lacks consensus among top management, executives can be organized to attend lean transformation training. For example, the president and department heads of a group company attend a three-day boot camp, learning lean principles, strategy deployment, and leadership roles. After training, they develop a company-wide lean transformation plan, clarifying goals and resources for each business unit, and regularly review progress. Active participation from top management provides strong support for grassroots implementation.
