Proposal

← All terms

Also called: Proposal

Definition

A request opened when an Agent wants to execute an action below its level threshold: Agent proposes, human approves, then executes. Approval executes via the original write path; approval, modification, and rejection are automatically written back to the authorization ladder's score; expired ones are not counted. Not part of DBS teaching materials.

In detail

Actions (stop line, advance step, revise standard) each have permissions and a minimum Agent level; below the threshold, the Agent does not directly execute but opens a proposal and notifies the role. Human approval counts as adopted_clean; approval with parameter changes counts as modified; rejection counts as rejected—the scenario upgrades only after a certain number of consecutive clean adoptions; a single modification or rejection resets the count. Standard revision parameters never enter proposals; only humans can do them.

Example in practice

Andon categories are in the stop-line list; the system opens a "suggest stop line" proposal to the team leader; the team leader approves in the inbox, the stop-line action executes and writes an audit, and the "Andon stop-line suggestion" scenario gains one clean adoption.
