Executive Leadership Training

ELT

Definition

The early senior leadership training project is no longer in use.

In detail

Executive Leadership Training (ELT) was an early leadership development program designed for executives; it is now discontinued and has been replaced by the more systematic DBS Boot Camp system. The 2020 glossary only notes that it "no longer exists" and does not give the reason for discontinuation; section 12 of the dbs-bootcamps card records the credit rules for ELT executive training, which can offset hours with other courses. It is usually output as a historical training record and has no direct impact on the current system.

Example in practice

While reviewing historical training records, it is found that some executives have previously attended ELT. Since this course has been discontinued, the HR department needs to map these records to the current leadership development path to confirm whether they have met the training requirements of the new system, avoiding redundant training.
