Definition
A handover method that transfers recalculation of improvement results, action status, standard versions, incomplete items, and review responsibilities to the process owner.
In detail
Result handover requires first unifying the scope, period, and unit before and after improvement, recalculating reported results, and then separating trial-run, verified, and unfinished items. The handover record should include the executable standard version, training confirmation, receiving owner, review date, and criteria. The end of reporting is not the closure of action, and short-term trial-run compliance cannot automatically be regarded as sustained maintenance.
Example in practice
Changeover for the same product was reduced from forty minutes to an average of twenty-six minutes over three trial runs; the team recorded a 35% reduction rate, while keeping the unvalidated locating parts as open items, to be received by the team leader with an agreed review of quality and durability.
